Wolfgang Puck combines diet and exercise to keep fit.
“If you would have told me ten years ago I was going to write a healthy cookbook, I would have said, ‘What are you talking about?’” Wolfgang Puck says from a booth inside Spago, his restaurant in The Forum Shops at Caesars. But it was some aches and pains after a day of skiing and the birth of his two sons that led Puck to his lifestyle (he exercises regularly) and diet change—all outlined in his latest release, Wolfgang Puck Makes It Healthy. The key to feeling great? “I eat smaller portions and eat more vegetables and salads,” he explains. “Now, if I go to CUT with my wife, I order three or four appetizers and we share one steak. I’ll eat five ounces at the most and won’t feel deprived at all.”
